Susan Schneider
Susan Schneider has worked in the technology and financial industries throughout her professional
career, mainly focusing as an advisor to clients on how to derive business value from technology. Most
recently, she consulted with Fortune 500 companies in developing return-on-investment models, which
demonstrated the cost benefits of investing in the software products of specific vendor companies.
Ms. Schneider also wrote financial articles for a Web-based financial information service, highlighting
specific functionality of software products after interviewing vendors and their existing customers.
Ms. Schneider spent over 10 years employed at Gartner, Inc. where, as a director in Marketplace
Consulting, she initiated and developed a successful ROI offering for IT vendors. As part of her role as
director, Susan authored vendor-sponsored sales and marketing papers to assist sales teams with
selling strategies. In an earlier role as a TCO benchmark analyst, she communicated cost efficiency
and effectiveness strategies with best practice process improvements to Fortune 100 companies
based on their study results. She is experienced in benchmarking multiple technology areas which
provided a more complete understanding of a company's IT operation and its business impact.
Taking time out after a few years in the technology industry earlier in her professional career, Susan
worked as a commercial banking officer at the Bank of America where she received extensive training
in finance, accounting, credit and load structuring. Ms. Schneider serviced a multi- million dollar
portfolio of small to middle-size businesses in commercial lending.
Ms. Schneider earned a B.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Connecticut, a M.A. in
education from Fairfield University and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
