ITPMG Part of Air Force Award for Services Contract
Bethel, CT, March 20, 2007… ITPMG (www.itpmg.com) announced today that its approach to performance management and performance scorecards was a critical element in the selection of Battlespace Flight Services LLC (BFS), Arlington, VA. for the award of an important Air Force contract. The five year, $100,000,000 plus contract provides organizational maintenance support for the Air Force Predator MQ - 1 aircraft and related systems at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada.
ITPMG is part of the BFS team and is responsible for the development and deployment of the performance management program that will be used to track and report on the performance of Predator maintenance and the BFS performance during both the transition and operational phases of the contract.
In notifying BFS that they won the award, the Air Force made a point of informing BFS management that their use of near real time performance reporting and scorecards helped them to win the award. The Air Force indicated that they appreciated the benefits of the BFS approach in allowing BFS to be proactive in the continuous improvement of its processes through the use of measurement. The Air Force also indicated that they viewed the "transparency" of the BFS approach as designed by ITPMG as a major benefit to them.
